Education is a complex topic. There are standards and methods and pedagogical foundations and a host of other factors. Many seem doomed to teach to the test while others are using a flipped classroom to deliver an excellent learning environment. Some educators work in a decidedly resource deficit environment while others have one-to-one device programs. There is so much diversity and noise in education, but have we stopped to consider the core questions? What exactly IS the purpose of an education, and how do we implement that purpose in a practical manner? These are the questions we ask in the Table Top Inventing podcast. Every week we interview educators, leaders, thinkers, and innovators to discover their views on the purpose of an education. The answers may be messy, conflicting, or complicated, but we are starting a dialogue to find meaningful answers to the biggest issues in education. Listen in. Then join the conversation, http://www.ttinvent.com/podcast.
