He also gained influence of hip hop music from celebrity DJ's like Funk Flex and Mr Cee. He began his DJ career by spinning at house parties, BBQ's, and banquet halls. David S. started to receive monetary offers to spin at Nightclubs in the Tri-State area. He began getting his name out there through radio promotions; mix tape distribution and flyers, which led to additional bookings throughout the East Coast. In 2001 David S., DJ Mad and Carl Blaze (R.I.P) created one of the East Coast dominate DJ crews and called them the DJ Kings. The DJ Kings now has officially over 15 DJ's and continues to grow quickly. In 2005 David hosted a local radio show in NJ with DJ Showtime on 91.3FM where he broadcasted local news, DJ'd, and interviewed guests. In 2006 David S. and the DJ Kings hosted a promotional party to introduce the new 2007 Nissan Sentra. They also had the honor to spin at the official Latin Grammy after party. In 2007 David S. aka DJ 187 competed and won the Pepsi DJ Division Challenge in the New Jersey/Philadelphia region over 1000+ DJ's that entered. In 2008 he cameo’d in the Replay Video by Fo Onassis. In 2009 David S was a featured artist on Put Your Drinks Up; Song and video by DJ Mad. He also has his own single out and will be releasing a album very soon. More recently David S. has Joined 101.7Fm the beach, where he is a featured DJ every Friday night with mini mixes playing 10-1am. David S. also currently has a show with Monster Energy Drinks DJ Lexx on Alistradio.net from 3:00 pm - 4:00 pm. He also has been taking over the remix market with his remixes on www.crack4djs.net, www.theremixclub.com, www.getmyremix.com, and www.mymp3pool.com. David has had affiliations with several sponsorships, radio stations, record labels and many other aspects of the entertainment business.
