No club has a richer cultural heritage of fact, fantasy, myth and legend, of poetry, song and story than the famous Glasgow Celtic. Arguably the highest high of all was the unprecedented season of 1966/67, the glorious so-called “Season in the Sun”, which culminated in that euphoric day in Lisbon when ‘The Celtic’ conquered the very peak of European club football by defeating Inter Milan 2-1 to become European Champions at first time of asking.
